[20p-W810-2] Size effect of Y2O3 nano-precipitates on the flux-pinning properties of YBCO thin films

The magnetic-field angle dependence of the critical current density Jc(H, θ) was measured at various temperatures in two co-evaporated YBCO thin films that contain high-density of very fine Y2O3 nano-precipitates. Different particle sizes have caused an interesting crossover in temperature dependent in-field Jc values. The film containing finer precipitates showed higher Jc at low temperatures in spite of considerably lower Jc at high temperatures.
