The research subjects in nuclear medicine are wide-ranged, and we are focusing to develop novel drugs as diagnostics and radio-therapeutic agents nowadays. It can be said that the production of various radionuclides and their stable supply would be much important as a fundamental technology to support and progress the research. Here describes our daily production of radionuclides for medical purpose as well as our research activities to establish an effective production strategy, namely vertical irradiation method coupled with a target vessel made of ceramics.
