According to M^I₂M^IVF₆:Mn⁴⁺ phosphors as rare earth-free ones which give red emission lines excited by a blue light, (Rb,Cs)₂SiF₆:Mn⁴⁺ phoshpors consisting of more than one alkali metal as mother crystals were prepared and their luminescence properties were studied in a range of room temperature to 250℃.
