We demonstrated the photoelectric effect using a holow-cathode lamp. We employed a hollow-cathode lamp without buffer-gas and detected the signal where we varied the wavelength of an incident light beam. Consequently, the threshold wavelength was 687nm. We will report the details of our experiments and the reasons of the difference between the previously reported value and our resultant one, and the reproducibility of the threshold wavelength.
