In this study, high-sensitive, rapid, and label-free optical biosensor for detection of amyloid β was developed using polymer-based two-dimensional photonic crystal (2D-PhC). For detecting of amyloid β, the anti-human amyloid β antibody was immobilized onto the 2D-PhC surface. And then, the different concentration of amyloid β (1-42) solutions (1 fg/ml- 100 ng/ml) were introduced onto the antibody immobilized 2D-PhC. After the antigen-antibody reaction, the reflection spectrum were monitored using spectrophotometer. As a result, polymer-based 2D-PhC could successfully detected the amyloid β high sensitively.
