[21a-S322-8] Basic reactions of hydrogen production by I2-K2CO3 thermochemical cycle

Takahiro Naito1, Takayuki Terai1, Masaki Takeyama2, Wakichi Kondo2 (1.Tokyo Univ., 2.DENSO CORP.)

Keywords:Thermochemical cycle,hydrogen production

Thermochemical cycle is a method for producing hydrogen for use of waste heat. The cycle allows the water decomposition at a relatively low temperature of the heat. We found a cycle in which the reactions progress at 500 degrees or less heat from the result of the search by thermodynamic calculation.
