[21a-S611-15] Study on initial behavior of the relaxation oscillation at zero-phonon line of Yb media

From the relaxation oscillation we can estimate spectroscopic parameters of laser gain media by use of linear approximation. However, we cannot apply this method when the spikes of relaxation are extremely larger than steady-state output, especially at the start of the relaxation oscillation. We propose a novel procedure for the to evaluation of these parameters from the temporal variation of spiking period in relaxation oscillation.
