渦状の接合部領域を形成し，パルスエネルギー，溝間隔を変化させ，ガラス材料間の超短光パルスマイクロ接合行った．さらに，各実験条件における接合強度を測定した．このとき，70 N以上の引張強度，3 MP程度の引張強度が得られた．さらに，試料間隙が100 nmを超える場合においても，直径10 mm程度の接合が実現された．
