[21a-W631-9] Development of Water Vapor Permeation Testing Devise and Reference Films to Measure Water Vapor Permeation Rate of 10-6 g/m2/day
Keywords:organic electroluminescence,Gas barrier,Water vapor transmission rate
High gas barrier films with a water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) of 10-6 g/m2/day is required to ensure the life time of organic electroluminescence for display and lighting. For evaluating such high gas barrier films, we have developed both a WVTR testing device of a differential pressure method using quadrupole mass spectrometer and standard gas barrier films using a cray/polymer nanocomposite film “Claist”. Their principles and the performances are presented.
