The future crystalline silicon solar cells require the higher conversion efficiency over 23%, low cost as $0.5/W and higher profitability on investment. To realize such high performance cells, the new NEDO’s R&D project has started. We have been undertaking a role to construct the pilot line of crystalline silicon solar cell as a part of the industrial development platform. We are developing the next generation crystalline Si solar cell, based on the fundamental knowledge and new concepts.
