[21p-KD-7] Research on novel materials for heterojunctions and high-quality crystalline silicon toward high-efficiency silicon solar cells with advanced technologies

To realize high-efficiency solar cells, it is necessary to surpass a-Si based heterojunction by reducing electrical and optical losses at surfaces and heterointerfaces. We will review our recent research activities toward realization of high-performance heterojunctions based on band engineering and novel materials. In addition, development of crystal growth technique for high-quality crystalline silicon will be addressed.
