透明体の三次元形状計測において、従来のスリット光とカメラを用いた光切断法による測定では、表面からの反射光量が少ないために、計測が困難であった。そこで我々は、スリット状の炭酸ガスレーザ光を照射し、加熱された計測対象表面の温度分布を赤外線カメラで検出する光切断法による手法を開発した。
