This paper shows optical and electrical properties of silicon nanoparticle (SiNP)/SiO2 composite structure. The binder SiO2 was made from Perhydropolysilazane (PHPS). A combination SiO2 and the SiNP is an interesting option in solar cell applications. We confirmed this composite structure has disturbed an electron hole as a result of experiment. Therefore we thought separate carrier structure, by mixing metal nanoparticle (MNP). In this study, fundamental properties of SiNP and MNP/SiO2 composite structure were examined.
