In this research, using simple testing equipment, we produced discharge plasma inside bubbles underwater and decomposed methylene blue solution which can be used analyzed colorimetrically as artificial wastewater. We decomposed the solution using the plasma generated from various gases released from the narrow tube of the discharge reactor and measured the density of each decomposed solution with a spectrophotometer. After that, we calculated their decomposition rates and compared them. In the comparison of the gas types infused in the reactor, indoor air showed the second highest decomposition rate following oxygen gas. This discharge reactor can be applied to various shapes of treatment containers.
