We developed high efficiency Ag(In,Ga)Se₂ solar cells which is a promising material for the top cell. The efficiency is still low as required for the top cell, and it is necessary to improve the V_OC and FF. We revealed that the cause of low V_OC and FF is attributed to this low hole concentration in the AIGS layer. Then, the Na was added to AIGS layer to increase the hole concentration of AIGS layer. As a result, the hole concentration increased and the efficiency improved.
