長年の課題とされているワイドギャップCIGS太陽電池の高効率化に必要な知見を得るため、まずCGS太陽電池のデバイス特性に関してCIGS（[Ga]/[Ga]+[In]比約0.4）と比較し、特に光吸収層形成以外のデバイス化工程において及ぼされる太陽電池特性への影響の違いを評価した。
