In this research, we evaluate the number of bits in multi-valued optical memory by using convex-shaped marks fabricated by two-photon absorption. Minimum Signal-to-Noise Ration (SNR) can be increased by equalizing the all SNRs by controlling the intervals and the standard deviations of the multi-valued data. From the numerical results, 6 bits are possible when the minimum SNR is larger than 2. We also extend the two-layer recording to increase the storage capacity.
