[21p-S321-9] 100 GHz-Band Electro-Optic Wireless-Lightwave Signal Converter Using Meta-Surface Structure

Radio-over-Fiber (RoF) technology is attractive for high-frequency (millimeter-wave/Tera-hertz wave) wireless applications. However, a wireless-lightwave signal converter operated in over 100 GHz is not yet established and challenging as far as we know. In this report, a new wireless-lightwave signal converter for 100 GHz band utilizing a meta-surface structure is proposed. Optical modulation around 100 GHz was successfully demonstrated.
