In this presentation, we demonstrate the generation of attosecond pulses at 100 eV using a BIBO optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier operated at 1600 nm and their characterization by the attosecond streaking technique. This experiment demonstrates, to the best of our knowledge, the first photoemission spectroscopy using high harmonics generated by an infrared light source whose wavelength is longer than 800 nm and, therefore, is an important milestone for the generation of soft x-ray pulses by use of an infrared electric field and their applications to ultrafast spectroscopy.
