Plasmonic chip gives us the enhanced fluorescence images by grating-coupled surface plasmon resonance field. In this study, the plasmonic chip with a concentric circular periodic structure so-called Bull’s Eye structure was used for fluorescence microscopic observation. With one or two dimensional array, only specific light with an incident plane parallel to the grating vector can be available. In contrast, Bull’s Eye structure enables us to use all azimuthal light for the plasmon couplings under a microscope.
