Squeezed spin states are considered to be instrumental for improving precisions of quantum measurements. We numerically show that in a collective spin system coupling to an ancillary system, the dissipation of the ancillary system and the methods such as the dynamical decoupling and the classical driving of the spins can respectively suppress the higher-order spin interactions and the inhomogeneous broadening, which are the main obstacles to realize the squeezed spin states with the quantum fluctuations below the shot-noise limit in solid-state collective spin systems. Our numerical calculations imply that we can perform magnetic field measurements with the sensitivities below the shot-noise limit.
