In the field of cavity-QED and circuit-QED, application to high sensitivity sensors and quantum information technology based on quantum state manipulations has attracted considerable attention after a lot of proof-of-concept experiments about quantum mechanics have been done from the point of view of basic physics. In this talk, I will overview the previous studies in this field and discuss about future prospects.
