Planar optical beam bending/lens/polarization splitter devices with metasurfaces have been developing. Since these metasurfaces are very thin, their functions can be transparent or enhanced with the proper phase difference of normal input signal and control beams. We report a new structure consisting of a trapezoid antenna array with thin bottom mirror for high-efficient switching based on this.
