We have developed the 18 MeV mono-energetic neutron standard field in order to calibrate neutron dosimeters or neutron detectors. The 18 MeV neutrons are produced by the T(d,n)4He reaction using a 4 MV Pelletron accelerator of AIST. Neutron fluence was determined by a DE-E proton recoil detector. The DE-E proton recoil detector is composed of two Si(Li) detectors with depletion layers of 0.05 mm and 2 mm. A 1-mm thick high density polyethylene plate was used as a radiator in neutron measurements.
