[5a-S21-2] Fundamental properties of CuAlS2 based red phosphors and their thin-film fabrication

The fundamental properties of Mn2+ activated CuAlS2 red phosphors are reviewed. Especially, the XAFS analysis of Mn2+ centers substituted at different sites and their luminescent properties are discussed. Currently obtained maximum external quantum efficiency is about 64% under the band-to-band excitation at room temperature. The technics of the CuAlS2:Mn thin-film fabrication will be also introduced.
