Prostate specific antigen (PSA) is a biomarker of prostate cancer, and the selective and sensitive detection for PSA is of great importance for prostate cancer diagnosis. In this study, molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) thin layer toward PSA was fabricated on a gold-coated glass substrate. Low affinity binding sites were capped and fluorescent reporter molecules were introduced within the imprinted cavities by post-imprinting modifications. The feasibility test was conducted for high sensitivity fluorescence detection of PSA.
