Laser-induced damage threshold of nonlinear optic / laser materials for sub-nanosecond pulse irradiation was evaluated by using bulk-shaped material. Damage threshold of crystal quartz for optical purpose and Nd:YAG crystal for laser medium were evaluated as 900 GW/cm2 and 400 GW/cm2, respectively.
