The thermoelectric properties of carbon nanotubes have recently been studied for the development of flexible thermoelectric generators. In this context, we are seeking their optimal conditions by screening the Raman and far-red absorption spectra. I will talk about the thermoelectric properties of semiconducting carbon nanotubes showing the Seebeck coefficient of approximately 3 mV K-1.
