[5p-PA1-75] Effect of thickness/strain for stability of phosphorene
Keywords:Phosphorene, atomic layer material
In this study, we report that the influence of thickness and strain for stability of phosphorene. The degradation of phosphorene in solvent is occurred by pseudo-first-order reaction of oxygen and phosphorene. In addition, the rate constant of the degradation cadences for concentration of oxygen in solvent. While almost of thin phosphorene is degraded, thick phosphorene was stopped to degrade along the way. When phosphorene was oxidized, the surface of phosphorene covered phosphorus oxide. This phenomenon can be explained that the phosphorus oxide protect the unreacted phosphorene inside thick phosphorene .
