[5p-PA2-8] Interfacial orientation of non-liquid crystalline long chain molecules on a rubbed polymer surface

It was found that the non-liquid crystalline long chain molecules were aligned on a rubbed polymer surface. The dichroic ratio of the non-liquid crystalline long chain molecules at different thicknesses was measured by infrared spectroscopy. Moreover, the region of molecules oriented under the influence of the rubbed surface was investigated.
