[5p-PA3-2] Development of Highly Crystalline Donor Materials Based on High-Planar Central Building Blocks for Organic Solar Cells

We developed a group of donors exhibiting high crystallinity and carrier mobilities with a high planar thienyl-vinyl-thienylene group as a central unit, and investigated structure-property relationship of organic solar cells. We revealed that three-dimensional crystalline growth were induced by solvent vapor annealing for donors possessing highly polar substituents at the ends, leading to high carrier mobility and high power conversion efficiency in devices.
