Due to high moisture stability, quasi-2D (q-2D) perovskite compound, whose general formula is A2Bn-1PbnX3n+1, has attracted much attention as a perovskite solar cell (PSC) material. Recently, our group reported fabrication of q-2D perovskite whose B site cation is formamidine (FA). FA-based q-2D compounds showed higher photovoltaic properties than other homologous q-2D perovskites. Although FA-based q-2D perovskite shows promising possibilities, optical, structural and photovoltaic properties of these compounds are still unclear. Here, we investigate these properties of 10 types of FA-based q-2D perovskite compounds, which contains different A-site cations in detail to evaluate effect of A-site cation to q-2D perovskites.
