We have investigated the behavior of supported lipid bilayer (SLB) treated by dielectric barrier discharge (DBD). So far, we revealed that the pores of nm~μm size is appeared on SLB treated by DBD.Pore formation is thought to be caused by oxidation of lipid molecules by ROS (reactive oxygen species). This time, we analyzed DOPC (dioleoylphosphatidylcholine) vesicle suspension after DBD treatment by mass spectrometry. As a result, we confirmed that DOPC was oxidized.
