△ [5p-S45-14] High harmonic generation in solids with resonant nanoantennas

We work on enhancement of the efficiency of high harmonic generation in solids with infrared-resonant nano-antenna utilizing plasmonic field enhancement effect. We observed that Au antenna (500 nm × 250 nm × 100nm) on ZnO crystal exposed by ultra-short laser pulse (wavelength: 2 um, peak field 1.0 V/nm) emitted 9th (wavelength: 222 nm) harmonic generation. In addition, we found significant differences arisen from plasmonic field enhancement effect between high harmonic generation with and without the resonant antenna.
