We develope a hihg-energy velocity mapping imaging apparatus to study photoionization by sub-two-cycle intense infrared laser field. To check the apparatus, we measured photoelectron from CO₂ molecules with infrared laser field. The photoelectron angular distribution strongly depends on the CEP, leading us to a conclusion that the apparatus works well.
