[6a-A413-8] C₆₀ Thin Films Grown on Glass Substrates by Vacuum Deposition

C₆₀ thin films were grown on glass substrates at room temperature by vacuum deposition. The morphology and the crystallinity of the C₆₀ thin films were analyzed by atomic force microscopy and grazing incident X-ray diffraction. The diffraction peak of the C₆₀ thin film was observed at 2θ=10.8°. We assigned the peak to the peak from face-centered cubic structure of C₆₀ (111) planes or from hexagonal close-packed structure of C₆₀ (002) planes.
