Cubic KTN is known for its huge electrooptic effect and we are developing fast optical beam deflectors and varifocal lenses by using this crystal. For device simulation, we must calculate refractive index modulations induced by the elasto-optic effect in addition to those by the genuine electrooptic effect. We present elasto-optic effect coefficients depending on the temperature that have not been reported in detailed manner.
