[6a-C11-3] Tricyanopyrroline-based electro-optic chromophores having amino-benzene donor unit with an alkyloxy group and its linear and nonlinear optical properties

We newly designd and synthesized EO chromophores with tricyanopyrroline (TCP) derivatives as the acceptor units, polyene as the π-electron bridges, and amino-benzene an alkyloxy group as the donor unit. Hyper-Rayleigh scattering (HRS), optical absorption, and 1H-NMR spectrum measurements were performed for the EO chromophores to investigate linear and nonlinear optical properties.
