Graphitic carbon nitride is concerned as one of promising metal free visible light catalyst for water splitting. Recently, an atomic layer of g-C₃N₄ delaminated from its bulk material exhibit a highest catalytic efficiency on hydrogen evolution of g-C₃N₄. Since then, monolayer g-C₃N₄ draws a lot of attention for photocatalytic application. Here, we propose a new synthesizing method by using solid/ solid interface on g-C₃N₄ synthesis.
