教員免許状更新講習をベースにした共通教養科目「生活の中の熱とエネルギー」を受講した教員養成系学生に対して，最終レポートおよび期末テストの記述内容をもとに受講前後でのものの見方，考え方の変化，関連知識の理解などについてまとめた。これらの結果をもとに教員養成学生に対する物理的内容の教育方法を考察する。
