A grating system composed of metal slit and dielectric substrate is considered to be a novel terahertz device. New electromagnetic phenomena are expected from the combination of spoof surface plasmon polaritons induced by the metal slit and eigen modes existed on the surface of dielectric substrate. We studied this structure through theonetical analysis and simulations.
