[6a-PA4-2] Decoy phase modulated DPS-QKD

We have been studying differential phase shift quantum key distribution (DPS-QKD) using a highly attenuated coherent pulse train that is randomly phase-modulated by {0,π} for each pulse. In this research, we propose decoy phase-modulated DPS-QKD. This protocol randomly inserts (±π/2) phase modulated pulses (decoy modulation) in a pulse train, and detects eavesdropping from simultaneous photon detection rate at the receiver.
