There are possibilities that the superconducting transition temperature will rise, and that various mesoscopic superconducting effects can be observed by using the thin film of superconductor. In this study, we investigated the cause of why superconducting transition is inhibited in the atomic layer of high-Tc superconductor BSCCO, which has few reports compared with reports of the atomic layer of superconductor NbSe2. In the experiments, we have fabricated thin film by a cleavage method and transferred it onto electrodes. With varying atmospheres, we have measured resistivity. As a result, it was suggested that molecular adsorption on surface of BSCCO is a cause of inhibition of superconductivity.
