Keywords:CIGS solar cells, KF-PDT, Heat-light soaking

The effects of long-term heat-light soaking on CIGS solar cells with KF-PDT are investigated. Although light soaking improves the hole concentrations, the resulting increase in conversion efficiency is not significant. In contrast, heat-light soaking effectively improves the saturation current density and ideality factor by passivating the recombination centers at CIGS layers and CdS/CIGS interfaces. Therefore, high conversion efficiencies are achieved after heat-light soaking.
