[6a-S22-3] [INVITED] Outlook of Renewable Energy Explored by Plasma Science

Although plasma processes have technological advantage over conventional thermal equilibrium processes, cost constraint has limited its utilization in solar cells. In recent high efficiency technologies for silicon solar cells, however, its advantage has been demonstrated in hetero junction and surface passivation. In this presentation, possibility of further development of plasma science and technology for renewable energy industries will be dscussed.
