Functions of thin films are quite often connected to inhomogeneity of buried layers and interfaces. The present research aims instrumentation to provide imaging capability to the neutron reflectivity technique, which gives unique information non-destructively. Some latest experimental results obtained by the use of the neutron micro-pixel-chamber will be reported.
