[6a-S41-8] Polarization dependence of laser induced magnetization dynamics of perpendicularly magnetized Co/Pt multilayer thin film observed by time-resolved x-ray magnetic circular dichroism

We performed time-resolved x-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) measurements on [Co/Pt]2/Sapphire multilayers. The setup is pump-probe by using our resonant soft x-ray scattering chamber installed at BL07LSU, SPring-8. The pump laser of 1.5 eV, 16 mJ/cm2 hits the Co/Pt multilayer, and we used the probe x-ray at the Co L edge for measuring XMCD by detecting photoelectrons from the sample.
