[6p-A413-1] Molecular Orientation and Crystal Structure in Bar-coating Film of Polymorphic Pentyl-substituted Phthalocyanine

Utilizing the low speed bar-coating method which is a kind of solution process, uniaxially oriented thin films of organic semiconductor, the pentyl-substituted phthalocyanines (C5PcH2), have been fabricated and the molecular orientation and crystal structure of the films have been investigated by the grazing incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS) technique. The crystal structure of the film fabricated by spin-coating has corresponded to the metastable phase of C5PcH2, while that fabricated by bar-coating has corresponded to the stabilized phase. The molecular orientation and crystal structure of film depending on the film fabricating condition have been discussed.
