▲ [6p-A413-15] Orientation of Conjugated Polymers by Ribbon Shaped Floating Film Transfer Method: Implication of Nature Polymeric Backbone
キーワード:Thin film, Floating Film Transfer Method, Orientation
The inherent one dimensionality and relatively flat molecular structure of conjugated polymers (CPs) facilitate the molecular self-assembly which in-turn controls not only their optoelectronic properties but also the device performance. Therefore, a facile thin film fabrication method while maintaining their self-assembly of CPs is highly desired towards their potential applications. Our group developed a unique casting method to obtain oriented thin-films of CPs on liquid-substrate, named as Dynamic floating film transfer method (FTM). In order to fabricate very large scale oriented thin films of CPs, an amicable solution has been provided utilizing a newly designed slider, which provide directionality during thin film fabrication under FTM leading to a very large scale Ribbon-shaped FTM films. In this work, this newly proposed ribbon-shaped FTM has been applied to a variety of CPs in order to delineate the influence of different polymeric backbone structure on their film expansions and orientation characteristics.
