[6p-A414-3] A light source for spectroscopy in 30-500 nm using solid Ar laser plasma

We studied emission spectra in VUV–visible region from a laser plasma source using a solid Ar target, which was developed by us and can generate continuously repetitive emission pulses. The results show that broadband continuum in the 30–500 nm range and many peaks contributed by some ions and neutrals superposed on it. We propose a broadband VUV- visible spectroscopy system using this source.
